GrimmSpeed Version 2 Turbo Inlet Overview and Installation Guide - 2015-21 Subaru WRX

The GrimmSpeed Cast Aluminum Turbo Inlets have been a huge hit amongst WRX owners since their initial release a couple of years ago. Regardless of their popularity, we are constantly striving to innovate on products, and there have been a few small changes that we've wanted to make to our Inlets for a while now.
The main difference between our original cast turbo inlets and the new V2 is that there are no longer two different fitments for the 2015-16 and 2017-21 fitments. Now they are both covered in one kit with interchangeable threaded fittings to perfectly fit the PCV return line on either the earlier or later models. Aside from the functionality, we've also refined our casting methodology to achieve a more uniform surface finish that nears perfection!
Other than those updates, all other features are identical to the Version 1 including the flow performance, so if a you already have one of our Turbo Inlets, there is no need to upgrade to the new version.

They should of made out of aluminum too. Its heavy
This does not work easily on 2011 sti. Stock fuel pressure regulator garbage gets in the way. Brake line is also in the way of getting short bolts in. I gave up. Going to have to take intercooler off and upgrade to aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.

Jump both feet in if you want to learn. Then you will force yourself to make new friends to help. As a mechanic I appreciate the guy who tried like hell and asked for help. They also make the best students, and eventually become great mechanics. Because they listen and don’t give up.

I've worked in and around shops (mainly body shops) for some years and I always thought it would be a boon to increasing productivity is to (and this would be expensive) apply sound deadining on walls and the ceiling. That die-grinder, hammering etc (and especially air-chisles - Ouch!) really beats the heck out of one's body, mental state and sole. Even with ear plugs. The echoing is relentless. So instead of the owner getting a new Vet at the end of the year, s/he spends it on the employees mental health. Ok, just a thought. This is the first video that I watched on your channel. If the car didn't look good, I'd probably never watch you again. Also, because I own an '04. I'll respect your disclaimer on comments... Please do less talking and show the car off more. We don't all geek out. Some of us just appreciate the work and want to hear and see the car. The tree S's - Style, Speed and Sound. A five minute video is sometimes more impactful.

Meh.. I’m usually a huge fan of the Cherry Blossom colorway.. but definitely prefer the CBR… 50-NICE’s STI did the CB-Red and not CB-Pink , still looks good tho! 👍

You can turn the car on but best not to actually drive your car normally or hard until you have a tuner send you a map
